“The Ɛʋɛ book club is a unique book club that allows both natives and interested individuals the opportunity to practice speaking the Ɛʋɛ language, it helps participants to broaden their Ɛʋɛ vocabulary and understanding of Ɛʋɛ idioms, you get some historical understanding of the African continent, there is also the social aspect to it, sharing knowledge and getting informed on current events both at home, in Ghana, and other parts of the world with the interest of Africa’s development and well-being at the forefront; the group encourages reading, accountability, participation, and sharing. The discussions are both thought-provoking and challenging and give the opportunity to learn about different cultures and morality.”

“The Ɛʋɛ book club and discussion group is really nourishing. The group is really welcoming. They are very patient with novice speakers. The discussion is rich and we get to hear others’ perspectives. Also, I like that even when there is disagreement, the discussion is still very respectful. It’s also great learning and exploring these writers I had not experienced before.”
